CORNUCOPIA Care Baskets, Fall 2009
The Community Leadership Program at the UNH Thompson School of Applied Science is partnering with the Cornucopia Food Pantry to provide food baskets during the Thanksgiving season. We are committed to providing baskets to all those who need and request them. This season, we are looking at the challenging prospect of organizing and distributing over 150 baskets. We will be organizing food baskets for the winter holidays as well, and expect the same need. We would appreciate any donations that will help us to reach this goal. We are including a donation form to fill out, and a list of suggested items to be included in a food basket. If you can help, we will need food or monetary donations on Monday, November 23rd. Checks can be made payable to the Cornucopia Food Pantry, and all donations are tax deductible.
Dear Friends in the UNH/Durham Community,
We hope you all are doing well, and staying warm and hopeful during this autumn season.
As you may know, the Community Leadership Program at the UNH Thompson School of Applied Science is partnering with the Cornucopia Food Pantry to provide food baskets during the Thanksgiving season.
The Cornucopia Food Pantry serves the UNH community, students, staff, faculty, and their families, and is located at the Waysmeet Center at 15 Mill Road in downtown Durham. It is open twice a week throughout the academic year, and once a week during the summer.
We'd like to thank all those who have contributed in the past, and hope that we can count on your help and the help of many new contributors this year.
Peace and happy thoughts to you.
Sincerely,
the TSAS Community Leadership Program
