PAT Council Elections Candidate Information

The following is a list by district of PAT Council Candidates and a short paragraph of information to hopefully aid you in your election process.  (Please note the lack of any information should not be construed as lack of enthusiasm to run for office since this feature was implemented late in the election process and some parties have been 'out of the office').

District 1

Entz, Susan - NA

Hope, Jordan - Jordan HopeI have worked at UNH since September, 2008, as the Associate Director of The UNH Fund. Before coming to UNH, I was employed by Plymouth State University, where I had the privilege of working on the PAT Scholarship Fund drive. As I got to know many of my fellow PATs, I was impressed by their passion and commitment to their work and to the students. At UNH, I would like to continue to connect with my PAT colleagues as well as represent their interests articulately and effectively.

Molloy, Nora - Nora MolloyI am a UNH alum, class of 1993 and I am currently working on my Masters in Public Administration. I work for University Communications and Marketing in the Office of Presidential Events and Programs. In addition to participating in the planning for Commencement, University Day Picnic and other advancement and community building events, I also manage the UNH Speakers Bureau outreach program. My position affords me the opportunity to interact and work with people and departments all across campus which has been both enjoyable and educational. I see the opportunity to serve on the PAT council as a way to continue building relationships and to represent my colleagues in a spirit of continual improvement of the work experience for all of us.

District 2

Adams, Jonathan - I have been working for UNH for about 21 years, 20 of those years at the Graduate School.  I primarily do IT related work focused on reporting, software, web design and data integrity monitoring.  I have a somewhat unique view of working at UNH as I started out as OS and was later promoted to a PAT position.  Because the Graduate School crosses over in many areas, such as admissions, student records, graduation, as well as into administrative and faculty area, I tend to have a broad experience with many areas of the campus.  My desire to work with the PAT council is mainly to give a little back to the community in which I work.  Time restraints limited my ability to do this successfully in the past but I am hoping I can strike a good balance this year between the work, studies and the community.

Ferreira, Kathryn - Kathryn FerreiraI have worked for UNH since 1997, first in undergrad admissions in Manchester as the data analyst, then as program coordinator for the MBA program brought to the Millyard in 1999, currently as director of the UNH Center for Graduate & Professional Studies since 2001.  My motivation for serving on the PAT council would be to represent this district and even though our physical location is Manchester the issues concerning us are the same, and hopefully my voice could bring a perspective to the PAT council that is a little different.

District 3

Boggis, JerriAnn - NA

Gagnon, Heather - I have worked at UNH for 8 years full time, 2 years prior to that as a work/study student assistant.  I was Operating Staff from 2001-2006, at which point I became PAT.   I work at the Library (specifically, the Physics Branch Library in DeMeritt Hall).  I've served on the Library's internal Staff Council for about 5 years now, being a chairperson of that group from 2004-2008.

Perry, Meir - I have worked at UNH for almost 3 years now and I currently serve on the Presidents Commission for the Status for People of Color.  I work out of the University Advising and Career Center office advising Undeclared Liberal Arts students.  I am interested in serving on this committee to bring a new perspective to the UNH PAT Council based on experience from being involved with Professional Staff associations in NY State, also I would love to know more about ways to give the PAT staff members more voice on campus.

Quist, Judith
- NA

Toure, Alsace - I have worked at UNH approximately ten months in the First Year Program and oversee a program for multicultural students called Connect.   I am willing to serve on the council in an effort to gain better understanding of the current issues facing PAT members at UNH, network with and meet new people on campus and provide a multicultural perspective on the council.

District 4

Graves, Jason - John GravesI have worked in the UNH Financial Aid Office for the past year but have worked in the financial aid industry for 9 years. I am very active with financial aid state and regional association where I have volunteered on numerous committees. I just recently finished my 2 year commitment chairing the NHASFAA (New Hampshire Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators) Government Relations Committee where I worked with elected officials on issues related to financial aid. I am very interested in serving on the PAT council to give staff a voice on issues related to the university. I will be a tireless advocate for staff and am available anytime for your questions, comments or concerns.

District 15

Cragan, Faye - NA

Boyles, Margaret - Peg (Margaret) has been with Cooperative Extension for almost 11 years, currently serving as writer-editor. Because she interacts regularly with PAT colleagues across the organization, she has a good grasp of the issues that matter most to them and will do her best to represent them mindfully and inclusively.

King, Michele - Michele KingI have worked at UNH Cooperative Extension for 9 years with 4-H Youth Development. I have a strong belief in outreach and when planning the 4-H Teen Conference I am always looking for ways to give the youth and volunteers of the 4-H program opportunities to explore different aspects of the University as many of the teens are considering attending UNH. I am interested in serving on the council to help ensure that the needs of staff are met, and I feel that any opportunities to network with different departments is a benefit to UNHCE programs.

Martin, Elizabeth - NA

District 18

Billum, David - NA

Pesci, Stephen -
I started at UNH in July 2001.  It was a homecoming, having gotten both my BS in Community Development ('87) and Masters in Political Administration ('93)- done part-time while working.  My non-UNH career involved working in regional planning for 15 years as well as public and private sector urban planning in New England and Brazil for a short period.  I work in Campus Planning department.  My focus tends to be on non-building infrastructure issues - such as transportation, landscape etc.  I think I can offer a well grounded overview of the campus and the many current and proposed projects we are engaged in... and in so doing represent the professional staff from the district well.
