This is a moderated message board/forum for PAT constituents to start a dialog with the council. Please note that YOUR comments will not show up until a PAT Council member can review and approve them. It may take a day or more for somebody to notice your post and approve it. In some cases we may choose to do the research and craft a response before making it visible. If you are not logged in, your posts are anonymous unless you add your name in your content.

the UNH Staff Unionization effort This forum has been developed for all UNH staff to have an unbiased place to discuss the UNH Staff Unionization effort. As you may be aware, there is a union drive currently under way at the University of New Hampshire, directed to staff. You can get the UNH HR information and answer to some of your questions by going directly to their site: UNH HR Union Page : http://www.unh.edu/hr/union-organizing-drive.htm You can also get information directly from an unofficial organizer's point of view on this unionization effort, who believes AFSCME (American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees) is the best union for UNH employees, at the UNH Staff Union website : http://unhunion.com 4

What would you like to see the PAT Council look into? Have an idea for something that you feel the PAT Council should look into on behalf of PAT employees? Don't keep it to yourself, tell us. 2
